The July-August exhibition at the AAC features watercolors by Claudia Dominguez and is entitled “The Making of a Graphic Novel--More Than Money.” Dominguez, who was born in Mexico City and moved to the United States at the age of 19, uses the graphic novels genre to explore complex societal issues through personal stories. For more information about Dominguez and a link to all of her work on-line, go to our website. The exhibition will run at the Athenaeum Art Center from July 16 through August 29. The AAC is open Tuesday and Thursday, 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
