JLSD’s Board Academy trains current and future community members on how to become effective leaders of a nonprofit board of directors. Local non-profit experts will provide training on board roles and responsibilities, developing strategic plans, measuring impact, monitoring financial status, understanding your role in public policy, and learning how to engage the community as a board member.
