For the fifth year, the Veterinary Specialty Hospital is asking San Diego residents to help by donating pet food to the Holiday Pet Food Drive. All dog and cat pet food items will be donated to the San Diego Food Bank to be distributed within the community to benefit San Diego families and their four-legged friends. Last year the Veterinary Specialty Hospital collected 4500 pounds of pet food.
Donations can be dropped off in the lobby of the North County or San Diego Veterinary Specialty Hospital locations. Donations will be collected from December 1 through January 2, 2017. The Sorrento Valley location is 10435 Sorrento Valley Road, 858-875-7500. North County info: 760-466-0600.
