Margie just got laid off from her cashier job at a Dollar Store. She's from Boston's south side, and everything is difficult. Not like Mike, a nouveau-have she dated 30 years ago. In David Lindsay-Abaire's comedy-drama, when Margie goes to Mike's spiffy roost on Chestnut Hil to ask for a job, sparks fly. Amid dramatic confrontations, thanks to director Paul Mullins's deft hand and a top-shelf cast, when the vulgar Southies gather - at the kitchen table or the bingo parlor - laughter erupts as well.
