Must close September 30, and it's a crying shame. The San Diego Rep's production of this extraordinary musical (won five Tony's) could run and run some more. Under Sam Woodhouse's seamless direction, the show is perfectly cast and staged. Forty-three year old Alison Bechdel, a successful cartoonist, is stuck.
