The Athenaeum is pleased to announce our fall 2018 exhibits, which will be on display from September 22 to November 3. Perry Vásquez’s new series of paintings, UNDER THE PERFECT SUN, will be displayed in the Joseph Clayes III Gallery. Meanwhile, in the Rotunda Gallery. we present a remembrance of Pam Whidden: “30 Years of Pam—portraits of Pam Whidden.” In the North Reading Room is a selection of the Athenaeum’s Artists’ Books Collection titled “The Political Impulse.” The library is open Tuesday through Saturday, from 10 AM to 5:30 PM, except for Wednesday, when we are open until 8:30 PM.
