DIG IT!
Sophie’s mosaic artists created a variety of unexpected garden and snow shovels decorated with the season of their choice. Each scene pieces together the warmth of the summer sun, the changing of the colors, the coziness of snowy surroundings or the freshness of spring air. Sophie’s artists created mosaic mandalas by developing designs intuitively, choosing symbols and patterns that ultimately represent their unique perspective of their world. At Sophie’s Art Gallery, the off-campus art program of St. Madeleine Sophie’s Center, adults with developmental disabilities discover and explore their creativity, learn new art media and tell their personal stories through art. This unique and personal art being showcased now through June 6.
