Cake Decorating for Beginners
Get introduced to the world of the cake decor in a hands-on environment during four-week series starting Tuesday, March 14.
Class 1 - Basics of frostings - how to make buttercream and how to torte, fill, crumb coat and frost a cake
Class 2 - Basic piping techniques - how to fill a decorating bag, use a coupler and how to use the star, shell, drop flower and leaf tips
Class 3 - Basic piping techniques using basketweave, star, shell, drop flower and leaf tips
Class 4 - Basic piping technique using round tips, basketweave, star, drop flower and leaf tips
You will be required to provide your own decorating/piping bags, tips and a frosted 8 inch cake for classes 2 through 4. Supply lists will be provided the first day of class.
Classes are held on Tuesday, March 19th, March 26th, April 2nd, and April 9th. There are no makeup dates for classes missed.
