Athenaeum May-June Art Exhibitions
The Athenaeum Music & Arts Library is pleased to announce the exhibits for May and June of 2019. In the Joseph Clayes III Gallery, for the ninth consecutive year, we present the works of winners of the San Diego Art Prize, a project of San Diego Visual Arts Network. A panel of local arts administrators selects two artists, who each select an artist to collaborate with. The 2018 prize recipients are Anne Mudge with Erin Dace Behling and Robert Matheny with Max Daily. In the Rotunda Gallery the Athenaeum presents an exhibition of artwork by scholarship winners of the San Diego State University School of Art, Design, and Art History.
