Bess Wohl's dark comedy -- make that dark-lite -- tells of three new employees at a sub-shop. They must work by the book: prepare complex sandwiches in under 20 seconds or "corporate" will rear its hydra-head. And eventually does. The play genre-hops, from serious to goofy, but quite often is funny. The Different Stages production gets much of the spirit of workers somehow finding a way to make a "dead-end" job work, though it may cost their jobs. Good emotional work by Michael Shantz, Lydia Lea Real, M. Keala Miles, Jr., and Claudette Santiago. Worth a try.
