All in the Timing: A Comedy in 6 One-Acts
David Ives' All in the Timing, an old comedy for our new time chosen for its paradoxical sense of comedy. produced “live” to a virtual audience in the safety of your living room. That is to say, the play in 6 acts will be performed by actors in the Onstage Playhouse theatre, live, every week and that action will be streamed to a remote audience, not a recorded show, then streamed over and over. In this way, OSP Artistic Director, James P. Darvas hopes to capture as close to a real “sitting in the seats” theatre experience as possible. Directed by James P. Darvas who, with a keen eye for the current climate, takes this “very odd place” into the future. Darvas says he chose this piece because "I want to play with two specific things for this production. One, we are currently living in a surreal environment and two, this play is extremely far from reality."
