5-Week Children's Magic Classes
In this beginning-level five-week class for children ages 9-17, students will learn how to make any small object disappear, perform astonishing card tricks, destroy something and magically restore it, seemingly read someone's mind and predict the future, present a perplexing rope trick, and cause three small balls to penetrate three cups. Even more important, they'll learn how to entertain the people who watch their magic while using simple psychology and misdirection techniques to thoroughly amaze them. They'll also develop practical skills such as interpersonal communication, public speaking, elocution, acting, improvisation, hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, creativity, and more. The teacher is Tom Interval, a San Diego-based professional magician who has taught magic for more than 30 years.
