Preston Swirnoff presents SILO Chords, a site-specific installation and music performance for choir, organ, and analog tape, featuring voices of San Diego New Verbal Workshop. With Particle FM DJ’s spinning records on the patio.
Swirnoff is a musician, composer, and multidisciplinary artist who often creates installations working with sound and visual art in unconventional spaces. His piece explores the many surprising possibilities of the chord and the unique acoustic properties of the silo, with its 40 foot high tanks, to create an immersive listening experience.
