Alongside a moving work by UCSD faculty member and Pulitzer Prize winner Anthony Davis, anticipation builds as we prepare for the world premiere for our 2024-2025 Nee Commission, bestowed upon a UCSD graduate student in composition. And amidst the whirlwind of Petrouchka, Stravinsky pays homage to his own influential teacher, Nicolai Rimsky-Korsakov.
