The San Diego School of Christian Studies invites community members to join us for an informative nature walk at the Tijuana Estuary. You’ll be led by State Park Interpreter Jessie Looney as you learn about the conservation history of the Tijuana Estuary, its important environmental functions, as well as its research and restoration.
The Tijuana River NERR was established in 1982. Since then, it has been a role model of salt marsh restoration and multi-agency collaboration.
This event is open to anyone interested in learning more about the challenges currently faced by our region, regardless of background or beliefs.
