Stars at West Sycamore
Join members from the San Diego Astronomy Association at the West Sycamore Staging Area to view the nighttime sky through telescopes. Telescopes provided or bring your own if you have one. There will be a 38 percent waxing crescent moon; good for viewing craters and mountains. You might be able to catch Mercury before it sets in the West at 8:06pm. We are running out of winter nights, so be sure to catch the favorites in Orion and Perseus. The constellation Leo is rising with some fine galaxies.
Viewing Begins at Dusk. Rain or cloudy skies cancel event.
