Batiquitos Lagoon will be having a presentation titled “Living with Native Plants” by Greg Rubin, author of The California Native Landscape, on basic protocols for the design, installation, and maintenance of native ecology in the home landscape, which are almost directly opposite those of classical ornamental horticulture. Learn also about some new plant introductions that expand the native palette, plus how to deal with the most pervasive threats. This free, family event is good for ages 15 plus. Registration is required.
