AXIS Event: Happy Birthday, Mr. Shakespeare

Celebrate The Old Globe's longest resident playwright, William Shakespeare, with the annual AXIS event Happy Birthday, Mr. Shakespeare. This year's theme is Henry 6: The Experience, and festivities will include Shakespearean monologues and scenes performed by M.F.A. students from The Old Globe and University of San Diego Shiley Graduate Theatre Program, a fight choreography demonstration and workshop led by Ben Cole, a musical DJ battle between the house of York and the House of Lancaster, the H6 Foley workshop, a crafts station for kids of all ages to enjoy. Plus, all attendees are invited to join in the “Happy Birthday” sing-along celebration with cupcakes.
