Vox Luminis: The Early Bach Cantatas

The San Diego Early Music Society welcomes Belgium-based ensemble Vox Luminis, under the direction of Lionel Meunier. The group specializes in German, Italian, and English repertoire from the seventeenth and early eighteenth centuries. The program includes four early Bach cantatas: Actus tragicus (BWV 106), Aus der Tiefen rufe ich, Herr, zu dir (BWV 131), Ach Nach dir, Herr, verlanget mich (BWV150), and Weinen, Klagen, Sorgen, Zagen (BWV 12).
