Film Forum Coronado: Arrival
Arrival (2016. 115 minutes): Why are they here? Denis Villeneuve directed this hypnotic, visionary and mysterious tale of humanity’s first contact with alien culture. When an extraterrestrial monolith lands in the wilds of Montana, a linguist (Amy Adams), an Army Colonel (Forest Whitaker) and a military physicist (Jeremy Renner) are enlisted to decode their language and communicate to determine their intentions.
