Winter Songs of Ukraine Fundraising Concert & Silent Auction: Balboa Park's House of Ukraine presents a fundraising night of Ukrainian music and culture. Performers Balaklava Blues will bring the ancient sounds of Ukraine to San Diego by performing stunning vocal polyphonies from the winter song traditions deeply ingrained in Ukrainian households worldwide. To ensure a prosperous new year, songs of good tidings will be sung, including Schedryk, the famous Ukrainian new years song that became Carol of the Bells. All proceeds from the event will go towards continuing House of Ukraine's humanitarian relief efforts.
