The final performance of San Diego Unified School District’s (SDUSD) middle school honor band and orchestra features middle school Honor Band students. These are auditioned groups, including players selected to rehearse and perform under the direction of two guest conductors. Students actively engaged in and activity funded, at least in part, by The VAPA Foundation, which strives to enhance the quality of and access to arts education in the SDUSD. (Brown Chapel)
