Downtown Chula Vista Día de los Muertos
353 3rd Avenue, Chula Vista, 91910
Cost: Free
Come to Downtown Chula Vista to partake in a traditional Mexican celebration, Día De Los Muertos, which honors loved ones who have passed through dancing, singing and enjoying food. Guests are encouraged to dress up as Catrínas and Catrínes, or nicely dressed skeletons, and snap a photo at one of the many cool photo stands hosted by the Downtown Chula Vista Association. Kids will enjoy fun games and activities like sugar skull decorating and collecting goodies from local businesses. Those who choose to honor a loved one can bring a copy of their photo to place on the 12-foot community altar at the corner of Third and Davidson.
