Film Forum Coronado: Loves of a Blonde
640 Orange Avenue, Coronado, 92118

Loves of a Blonde (1965. 90 minutes): A beguiling blend of humor and heartbreak, this fresh and funny satire of generational restlessness from Milos Forman was a high point of the Czech New Wave. A naive girl from a provincial industrial town is seduced by a rakish piano player and journeys from the first pangs of love to eventual disappointment. (Czech with English subtitles). Film Forum Coronado is held in the Winn Room at the Coronado Public Library, twice a month, with a brief introduction before the film and a discussion afterward, led by Ralph DeLauro. This program is presented by the Coronado Public Library and the Coronado Island Film Festival.
