As harvest arrives, it’s time to think about how to preserve your bounty. Introduction to Modern Food Preservation Techniques is a hands-on workshop that will teach practical ways for the backyard gardener to preserve their own harvest or items purchased locally. You will be guided through the principles of Dehydration, Pickling (including Fermentation) and Canning. Taste seasonal recipes and prepare a canned salsa to take home.
