Beat Farmers and Farm Truck
The bill includes the Beat Farmers, Sara Petite, Lady Psychiatrists Booth, and Farm Truck will debut their new CD Sadie. The six-piece band features vocalist/songwriter Craig Fischer, the twin guitar attack of Tim Edwards and Mike Ashley, bassist Wade Maurer, drummer Dan Renwick, and the band’s newest addition, Patric Petrie, on fiddle and high heels. Farm Truck was formed in San Diego’s East County in 2005. Influenced by L.A.’s Cowpunk scene of the 1980s, the burgeoning Alternative Country scene of the 1990s, and the Oklahoma/Texas Red Dirt scene. Farm Truck has developed a wide fan base, known as Farm Truckers, who like “a little grit in their Country.” In their short existence, they’ve been able to open up for artists, such as Artimus Pyle (Lynyrd Skynyrd), Cody Canada (Cross Canadian Ragweed), The Black Lily’s, Jason Boland and The Stragglers, as well as many other Red Dirt Country Artists.
