The practice of mindfulness comes from the ancient Buddhist tradition. Mindfulness is like a meditation where we relax into the present moment, breathe, and just observe our thoughts, feelings, and reactions to thje world around us without any judgments or expectations. Mindfulness helps us to be more calm and accepting and not just have knee-jerk reactions to situations or people. In a natural setting, mindfulness opens a space to contemplate and be present for the subtleties nature evokes in us.
