La Jolla Music Society Artist-in-Residence, mandolin virtuoso Avi Avital, is joined by bass/oud player Omer Avital and pianist Gadi Lahavi to create beautiful fusion, drawing on a diverse and exotic set of sounds from Morocco, Israel, and North Africa to conjure jazzy moods and explore new dimensions in the intimate cabaret-style setting of The JAI.
