Exploring Accessible Nature Trails at Tijuana Slough NWR
301 Caspian Way, Imperial Beach, 91932
Cost: Free
National Trails Day: The nature guide will lead visitors along an unpaved, flat accessible trail where adjacent coastal wetlands and native uplands support a variety of birds and other wildlife that call the Refuge their home. Binoculars will be available to borrow free of charge. Following the nature walk, Refuge staff will welcome visitors outside the Tijuana Estuary Visitor Center where visitors can get more information about the event including activity guides that will come in useful as you take an easy stroll along North McCoy Trail. Park rangers will be on the trail to talk about native plants and wildlife and offer free giveaways.
