“Yesterday” (2019. 116 minutes. PG-13) — Yesterday, everyone knew The Beatles. Today, only Jack remembers their songs. Director Danny Boyle and writer Richard Curtis celebrate the magic of The BeatleNs in this jukebox romantic comedy. In an alternate universe where The Beatles never existed, a struggling busker named Jack Malick (Himesh Patel) soon passes off their songs as his own. Superstardom follows — So does the guilt. With Lily James, Joel Fry, Ed Sheehan and James Corden. Held in the Winn Room, with a brief introduction before the film and a discussion afterward, led by Ralph DeLauro. This program is presented by the Coronado Public Library and the Coronado Island Film Festival.
