Junior Science Club: Playground Engineering

Investigate exciting science topics. Sessions are filled with new challenges, hands-on activities and interaction with local scientists. Throughout the year, kids will explore an array of fields including biology, chemistry, engineering, environmental science, physics, robotics and much more. This month’s topic is Playground Engineering. Slide into adventure. Learn how engineering concepts are used when designing playgrounds. Junior Science Club is held the third Saturday of the month from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. or 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for students in grades 1 to 4. Price: Members $13; Nonmembers $15.
