“Fahrenheit 451” (1966. 112 minutes) Francois Truffaut’s excursion into Ray Bradbury’s dystopian future where a mechanized society has banned books yields this eerie fable that celebrates the romance of the written word. Co-starring Oskar Werner and Julie Christie. FILM FORUM CORONADO is held in the Winn Room at the Coronado Public Library twice a month, on the First and Third Wednesdays at 6:00 PM - NEW TIME - with a brief introduction of a film, followed by the film screening and a discussion afterwards, led by Ralph DeLauro. This program is presented by Coronado Public Library, in partnership with Coronado Island Film Festival.
