Artist talk with indigenous illustrator, writer, and comic book artist: Weshoyot Alvitre. Talk about her work in and outside of her art, as well as the importance of using the indigenous voice to re-frame colonial narratives through her medium. This artist talk is a parallel activity to the current exhibition Our Ancestor’s Dream, on view at The Front Gallery until January 7. This is a free, virtual event and will take place over Zoom.
