Buddhist Week commences with an opening ceremony featuring The Monks of Gaden Shartse Phukhang Monastery Sacred Art of Tibet tour, filled with music and chanting to consecrate the site for the sacred sand mandala. The week’s schedule includes meditations, lectures, hands-on experiences, and more. Close the week with a Dissolution Ceremony where the monks sweep up the completed mandala and release the sand into the ocean.
