Film Forum Coronado: Saboteur
640 Orange Avenue, Coronado, 92118
Cost: Free
Saboteur (1942. 108 minutes): Alfred Hitchcock’s jaunty, slyly satirical musings on patriotism and paranoia. A beleaguered defense plant worker (Robert Cummings) is ensnared in a wartime espionage plot that carries him on a coast-to-coast trek from the California desert to the Statue of Liberty. With Priscilla Lane, Otto Kruger and Norman Lloyd. Film Forum Coronado is held in the Winn Room at the Coronado Public Library, twice a month, with a brief introduction before the film and a discussion afterward, led by Ralph DeLauro. This program is presented by the Coronado Public Library and the Coronado Island Film Festival.
