Film Forum Coronado: Charade
640 Orange Avenue, Coronado, 92118
Cost: Free
“Charade” (1963. 113 minutes): Stanley Donen goes dangerous and delicious in this glittering emblem of sixties style and wit. An elegant, mysterious Cary Grant and Givenchy-clad Audrey Hepburn are pursued through the City of Lights for gold stolen during wartime. The comedic thriller co-stars James Coburn, Walter Matthau and George Kennedy. Film Forum Coronado is held in the Winn Room at the Coronado Public Library twice a month, on the First and Third Wednesdays at 6 p.m., with a brief introduction of the film, followed by the film screening and discussion afterwards, led by Ralph DeLauro. This program is presented by the Coronado Public Library and the Coronado Island Film Festival.
