Stop by the Discovery Tables in the lobby of the Visitor Center to learn from MTRP Trail Guides. Meet two of the Parks' inhabitants: 1) Discover fun facts about some common lizards found in the park. You'll be surprised at their favorite food. See if you can correctly match each lizard with its clue. 2) Then learn about mountain lions' size, range, lifestyle and place in the food chain. See if you can correctly answer questions about their behavior. Learn about sightings in MTRP and create your own full-size mountain lion track stamp to take home Discovery tables are set up on the second Saturday of every month. Tables feature hands-on activities and take-home materials for kids and adults. Topics vary month-to-month.
