Warwick's will host Transitioning To Newer Normals: How Kids' Books and Authors Can Help with authors Chris Baron, Matt de la Peña, Dr. Virginia Loh-Hagan, Sally J. Pla, and Minh Lê. Chris Baron is a professor of English at San Diego City College. He is the author of The Magical Imperfect and All of Me. Matt de la Peña is the Newbery Medal-winning author of Last Stop on Market Street. Dr. Virginia Loh-Hagan is an author, former K-8 teacher, university professor, and current Director of the Asian Pacific Islander Desi American (APIDA) Center at San Diego State University. Sally J. Pla is the author of the novels The Someday Birds, Stanley Will Probably Be Fine, and the picture book, Benji, the Bad Day and Me. Minh Lê is an author and national early childhood policy expert. He wrote Green Lantern: Legacy, Lift (illustrated by Dan Santat), and Drawn Together (also illustrated by Santat).
