Watson, Beldock & Beach
Peggy Watson and David Beldock, supported by Paul Beach and often a percussionist, perform original acoustic folk, blues, and jazz. Together, they are known for their dazzling musicianship, beautiful harmonies, and humorous stage presence. Peggy, a local singer/songwriter, is known for her wide vocal range and clear soprano voice. She has used her talents to perform concert benefiting AIDS organizations, international medical aid projects, and many events supporting environmental justice, and human rights. David is a local guitar player and singer/songwriter. His songs have won various awards including the John Lennon Songwriting Contest and Dr. Demento. David and Peggy have also written songs together. Their legendary bass player, Paul Beach, previously performed with The Association, The Mamas and the Papas, and Gary Puckett. Savannah Philyaw, in her first SDFH appearance, will open.
