Living Room Lecture: Nathan Harrison Archaeology
All over the world from, San Diego
The 2021 summer field season at the Nathan Harrison site produced multiple discoveries that furthered understanding into the life of Palomar pioneer Nathan Harrison. San Diego State University professor and project director Seth Mallios will offer an overview of the field project, discuss the current San Diego History Center exhibit, and detail the site’s most recent finds. A single find from the midden answered one of the biggest debates regarding Harrison’s personal life. This San Diego Archaeological Center event will be held on Zoom. Cost: Pay what you wish. Ticket purchases of $40 and over will receive a signed copy of Born a Slave, Died a Pioneer: Nathan Harrison and the Historical Archaeology of Legend by Dr. Seth Mallios.
