125th Anniversary & Open House
Warwick's is 125 years yong this year (1896-2021). Join a special champagne toast at 1:25pm. From 12-3pm, San Diego authors and publisher representatives will be on hand with book recommendations. Local musician Paty Sevener will share her talent on Spanish guitar and more from 11:30am-2:30pm. Raffles will take place throughout the day for prizes including $125 Warwick's gift cards. Complimentary commemorative bandanas for furry patrons are available while supplies last. Artist Lori Mitchell created a timeline of Warwick's history that is now an installation in the back hall of the store, chock-full of trivia and many tiny surprises. There's also a mural, best viewed at the rear store entrance on Drury Lane, highlighting visiting authors through the years.
