City Ballet of San Diego, under the direction of Steven Wistrich, begins its 29th Anniversary Season by presenting two world premieres by Resident Choreographer Geoff Gonzalez. His ballets are inspired through the cultivation of reimagined, contemporary movement based on the classical artform. Gonzalez acts to shed new light, while continuing to uphold ballet’s beautiful traditions. The event includes a free open-air, reception with the dance artists following the performance.
