Sandag & Caltrans: South Bay to Sorrento
SANDAG and Caltrans are setting priorities for transportation improvements in the region through a Comprehensive Multimodal Corridor Plan (CMCP) initiative. The 28-mile South Bay to Sorrento project study area is one of the first five corridors prioritized for a CMCP by the SANDAG Board of Directors. The corridor includes the cities of San Diego, Chula Vista, Coronado, National City and Imperial Beach. The first public meeting for the South Bay to Sorrento corridor will be held via Zoom. During this public engagement event, SANDAG staff will explain how the development of an innovative transportation network will transform the way people and goods move through the San Diego region. Attendees will have a chance to share their input about the challenges they face in the South Bay to Sorrento corridor and suggest solutions. A Spanish interpreter will be available at the meeting.
