Registration is now open for the UC San Diego Library’s next #Geisel50 signature event, A Conversation with Kevin Young, taking place online. Young is a poet, author and director of the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture. The discussion will be moderated by UC San Diego Foundation Board Trustee and UC San Diego Alumni Board President Kimberley Phillips Boehm ’82, PhD, and will explore Young’s career, including his most recent work, “African American Poetry: 250 Years of Struggle and Song.” Join the conversation on social media using #Geisel50.
