San Diego DEAFestival Virtual Edition
The San Diego DEAFestival has been a festival for the community of San Diego for over twenty years. Ever since its inception in 1980 with just forty participants, the mission has always been the same. To create a place for the community to celebrate American Sign Language, for and by the Deaf community of San Diego, where everyone is invited to embrace this experience together. The DEAFestival has grown ever since, from the size of the venues, to the amount of participants, to the diversity of the performers, to the amount of the budget, and even to the several changes of the name of the DEAFestival. For the first time, the DEAFestival will be virtual. Be prepared for non-stop action from over 55 DEAF performers on three separate channels, hundreds of exhibitors, two hosts, and one-stop entertainment for you and your family.
