Arts District Liberty Station Virtual First Friday
Be inspired by this virtual lineup of talented local artists and creatives showcasing their craft to San Diego residents and beyond. For the first time, seven of this month’s activities will be hosted on one convenient virtual platform called Airmeet. Learn to make the perfect teacup with Milk Oolong Studio, be holiday gift ready thanks to Anne Gaffey Art’s mixed media heart painting, and participate in a live Q&A with Hugo Crosthwaite to learn more about his process for creating his Installations at the Station mural “Column A and Column B: A continual mural narrative performance”. Plus, check out the variety of other activities happening that day across the web including an aquascape tank demonstration from Hakkal Aquascape Design Gallery, Vision Art Museum’s “Quilt Visions 2020” showcasing a collection of 37 works by 14 artists, and hear from local artist Jeremy Nuttall about his Installations at the Station “Rolling It Forward” along with a live discussion to learn more about the creation of this sculpture.
