Morning Glory Brunch
St. Madeleine Sophie’s Center (SMSC), a nonprofit organization that serves individuals with developmental disabilities, will hold its 19th Morning Glory Brunch. It will feature an afternoon of unlimited bites, beverage tastings, live music, shopping and SMSC’s signature Frog Race. Guests can participate in the fundraiser Frog Race by purchasing plastic frogs to enter in the race. Prices for race entry are $50 for a single frog, $100 for three frogs and $150 for a family of five frogs, with a $2,500 prize for 1st Place, $1,000 for 2nd Place and $500 for 3rd Place. The spirited event will feature live music entertainment from Rebecca Jade Quartet, Jason Weber, and the International Academy of Jazz San Diego. This year, the Roberts Family will serve as the event’s Honorary Chair, honoring the memory of Roger Roberts, a longtime supporter of St. Madeleine Sophie’s Center. The emcee for the afternoon will be Pierre H. Charmasson, a Professional Benefit Auctioneer.
