"IN BETWEEN" - 2016. 103 minutes. Rated R. This debut feature film is a spiky feminist drama focused on three strong, modern women, part of a Palestinian underground scene, struggling with issues of tradition and modernity. This film caused outrage in the Muslim community of Israel for depicting women drinking, smoking and partying. The film also contains some scenes with drug use, offensive language and sexual violence. In Arabic and Hebrew with English subtitles.
