After thirty years of managing a restaurant, selling golf clubs, and working with sports collectibles, Matt Coyle published his debut novel, Yesterday’s Echo, a crime fiction thriller following PI character Rick Cahill that won the Anthony Award for Best First Novel, the San Diego Book Award for Best Mystery, and the Ben Franklin Award for Best New Voice in Fiction. In his sixth installment, Lost Tomorrows, Rick must confront his ruined past. After learning of the passing of his former partner on the Santa Barbara Police, Krista Landingham, Rick is duty bound to attend her funeral. It’s the same city that saw the death of Rick’s wife, and the same city that blamed him for her murder. When it becomes apparent his ex-partner’s death might have been murder, Rick follows clues that lead him to face the horrific actions he’ll need to take to exact revenge and achieve redemption.
