America's Schooner Cup Charity Regatta

The America’s Schooner Cup Charity Regatta is an annual event held in San Diego Bay by Silver Gate Yacht Club with support from Navy Yacht Club to benefit the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society. Best to view all the schooners participating in this San Diego regatta from Shelter Island, with Race Start and Finish just south of Shelter Island Launch Ramp and first warning at 11:25 AM. Depending on winds the race lasts 2-4 hours while heading out the harbor to Sea Buoy #1 and back again. Charter passage aboard three of the larger racing schooners is also offered while space is available.
